Got Sleep?

So on Tuesday night, my main man Bryce slept for 9 hours straight. I couldn't believe it when I woke up in a semi-daze at 4am that he was still asleep. I quickly went back to dreamland and got up at 5:15 when I heard him whimpering. But then last night he was up twice and then again at 5:30. Why does he tease me like that? But at least now I know he can do a true all night sleep. It's coming, it's coming....

In other news, tomorrow is my unofficial last day of maternity leave as I return to full time work on Monday. Thankfully, Thanksgiving (no pun intended) is next week though so I'll only have to sweat it out for 3 days. But man, will the week of 11/28 be tough. I'll be exhausted by Wednesday! Getting 2 little kids ready in the morning is quite an exercise in patience. Although I love seeing them when they first wake up.

Also, Jason's dad came home from the hospital on Tuesday. He is now being treated at home with IV antibiotics for the staph infection that landed him there in the first place. When he is done that in about 4 weeks, he will be able to go back on his Wegener's Syndrome meds and the doctor will put him on an antibiotic to prevent something else like this happening. Hopefully he won't have anymore setbacks! We're just happy he'll be home for Thanksgiving!

Finally, my mom and I took Caroline for her 2 year portraits on Tuesday and while we were there we saw that Santa was already there. (What's up with that?) But there was no line and my mom thought we should see if Caroline would sit on his lap. Yeah right... But we did manage to get a picture and boy did it capture a moment. I'll be laughing at this one for years! Do you think Caroline looks like she's ready to knock Santa's block off?
