The kids were out on the deck gallivanting around while we got dinner ready and when I took their plates out to them, Caroline wouldn't sit down because she was watching the neighbor's dog who had just walked out into the yard to, ahem, relieve herself. I told her to sit down, but she said, "Yeah, well, she's just peeing."
But she continued to watch her so I said, "Caroline, leave poor Molly [the dog] alone."
To which she replied, "I like watching nature. Nature is cool."
I guess peeing is nature in action, so watching an animal pee in nature is truly thrilling.
