Now onto more serious things, what I'm wearing to the wedding. A few weeks ago, I went shopping at Macy's and found this dress:

It's just the cutest thing! I love the bright pink ribbon belt and the dress is lined with the same sassy shade of pink. I even have a pink purse that I think I can carry with it (it's not quite the same color, but close). But, the big question is the shoes and how to wear my hair. First for the shoes, I cannot see spending a lot of money on pink shoes just to wear with this dress. I just can't do it. It's not in me. I have a cute pair of black ones to wear, but I sure would love a hot pink pair. I also have the issue of not being able to wear really high heels. I'm scared of falling wearing 2 1/2 inch ones, so anything more is horrifying.
As for my hair, gosh, I have SUCH THICK HAIR. Which means it's REALLY hard to try and put up. Really hard. So basically, I always end up just blowing it out and feeling like it's my normal, ho hum hair. Not that I'm trying to get all glammed up or anything, but it's nice to feel a little more dressed up than normal. I'm so terrible with hair anyway that I can't manage much beyond a good blowout. I still have over 2 weeks. I bet Caroline will let me borrow some of her hair bands, you think?

Oops. I read this post BEFORE the "stressing about this " post and it didn't make sense, but now it does.
Does this mean our future getaway has to be on a four -day weekend? This limits our travel choices, but hey, I'll try to make it work. ;-)
Love this dress!
I say black open toe heels with pink toes will work :)
Hair - since I have thin hair I don't have the same issues you do, but how about pulling your sides up with black chopsticks (or some cute hair thingy - try icing at the mall) Maybe you can find pink dangles too or stud diamonds would work well too!
